At Base Podiatry we welcome referrals for any patients that you feel their condition or symptoms may be foot related.  As their treating doctor, you will receive written updates on our diagnosis, treatment and progress.

If you would like to meet with Mark one on one, to meet the practitioners in your clinic or discuss specific patients with Mark, please feel free to contact Mark at the clinic in your area by phone or email using the form below.

Referrals are welcome through the Enhanced Primary Care Plan for appropriate patients, Veterans Affairs or as private patients.  Patients with Private Health Funds with appropriate cover can claim on the spot using HICAPS.

Please note, that patients do not need Private Health Insurance to visit us - everyone is welcome for foot care at Base Podiatry

FOR PRIVATE PATIENTS

All patients are welcome to visit Base Podiatry for foot care and treatment.  In most cases a referral is not required to see a podiatrist.  If you have Private Health Insurance with extras cover you may be eligible for rebates.  These can be claimed on the spot using HICAPS.  Please be aware that certain health funds require podiatry to be an added service to your health fund.  Please check directly with your fund to check if you are covered for podiatry services.

Certain people with chronic health conditions such as diabetes or rheumatoid arthritis may be eligible for Medicare rebated podiatry services.  This is available as long as your doctor has completed the necessary care plan and invited our participation via an appropriate referral prior to your visit. Reports of clinical findings and treatment will be sent to your General Practitioner as part of this team care approach.

Referrals are welcome for Veterans Affairs, TAC and Workcover patients with a claim number.  A specific referral is required from your general practitioner or allied health professional.  Please call your local Base Podiatry clinic or refer to the relevant link for more information.
