Mark Millerd

Podiatrist

Mark, a Mornington Peninsula local, graduated from La Trobe University in 2003, and has since worked extensively in sports injury clinics on the Mornington Peninsula and was senior podiatrist in the Walk On Podiatry group.  He has worked with numerous sporting groups on the peninsula including a 2 year stint with double premiership team Parkdale Vultures in the VAFA.  He continues to attend courses to further enhance his treatment.  Base Podiatry was formed in 2010 when opportunities arose to work alongside sports injury clinics in Cheltenham and Frankston, also with local general practitioners in Mt Eliza.  

 

Mark specialises in sports injury management of the foot and ankle with particular interest in gait analysis for running and walking related injuries.   Mark also cares for the ongoing foot health of seniors and families.  A bike fitting service is also available. 

PAUL WILSON

Podiatrist

Paul Wilson is very excited to join the team at Base Podiatry Cheltenham.   Paul enjoys working in all aspects of podiatry care and value a holistic approach to his patients rehabilitation.  He is trained to utilise foot mobilisation therapy, dry needling and prolotherapy and will often incorporate these treatment modalities into your care.

When not working I enjoy fishing and spending time with my 2 dogs.  Paul looks forward to meeting you and your feet soon. 

 

Michael Wintle

Podiatrist

Since graduating from La Trobe university in 2003, Michael has amassed a wealth of experience specialising in the area of the High Risk Foot and associated conditions.  He has worked across many areas including Diabetic clinics, Paediatric clinics, Wound clinics, Refugee health, Acute and Community clinics in the public setting.

An avid sportsman, Michael has a keen and active interest in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of biomechanical issues of the foot and lower limb. He is accomplished in employing therapies such as custom foot orthoses and dry needling.

 

Still pulling on the boots for  St Bede’s Mentone Tigers in the VAFA after more than 200 games, he is acutely aware of the competitive nature of sports people and with it, the eagerness to resume their chosen pursuit.  Michael is well equipped to assist patients to rapidly yet safely overcome injury and return to activity.
